 CDF TEACHERS PROGRAM

Improving Their Skills

Twenty teachers from the West of China (Tibet, Gansu, Xinjiang, Hunan, Henan, Shangdong etc.) visited an international school in Beijing for a period of ten days. CDF worked with the host partner (Dulwich, Wellington, or British School Beijing) to arrange the cirriculum. CDF recruited the teachers from local schools in the west of China and paid for their travel and accommodation. CDF then provided each teacher with a manual to re-teach the five day course in their home school. The teachers received a certificate of graduation and enhanced pay as a result.

CDF STUDENTS PROGRAM

Broadening Their Insight

CDF recruited twenty teenagers (14-16) from the West of China to visit a city for the first time. CDF arranged a trip to an airport, a science museum and an office for careers training. To date we have undertaken this program with Chris Rayner of SSP International. The students visited for four days and gained skills to broaden their horizons and help them enter the job market.

CDF OUTREACH PROGRAM

Advising The Future

CDF outreach program introduces extra-curricular activities to both students and teachers. From competitive debate to various sports, CDF gives participants an opportunity to partake in a host of interesting activities. After learning about the different extra-curricular activities, teachers and students are encouraged to bring them back to their own school. CDF also works with other charitable donors to provide facilities directly to schools, such as astroturf fields.
